Lynn Ligammari is a graduate from the Eastman School of Music, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Saxophone Performance and Education.
Known for her versatility, Lynn performs with a wide array of musical projects that include, Red Baraat, Conor Oberst, Antibalas, Durand Jones & The Indications, Al Chez & The Brothers of Funk, Frank London & The Shekinah Big Band, Holy Hand Grenade, The Dorian Wallace Free-Sound Ahnsemble, Soulsystem Orchestras, The Last Nites, Dawn Drake & Zapote, The Afro-Peruvian Jazz Orchestra, the Blaskapelle Brass Band and Extra Syrup Horns.
She has played at Carnegie Hall, NPR, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the David Letterman Show, America's Got Talent, Governor's Ball, the Bluenote, the Newport Jazz Festival, the Newport Folk Festival, the Rochester International Jazz Festival, Summerstage, and more. She has also been featured in the horn section on numerous albums and recordings, and is an international performing artist.
In addition to performing, she is a Teaching Artist for Lincoln Center Education, and a saxophone instructor for Mannes Prep at The New School.
Lynn was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, and is a Conn-Selmer artist.
